America’s Growth Capital is pleased to announce that its client, Bus-Tech, Inc., the leading provider of Virtual Tape Library (VTL) solutions that utilize open systems disk storage to store and retrieve mainframe tape data, has been sold to EMC Corporation (NYSE:EMC), the world’s leading provider of information infrastructure solutions. Bus-Tech now becomes part of the rapidly growing EMC Backup Recovery Systems division, which delivers next-generation, disk-based backup and recovery solutions. With a team led by Ben Howe, America’s Growth Capital acted as sole financial advisor to Bus-Tech.
