AGC Partners is pleased to announce that its client, Alliants, the guest experience technology partner behind more than 100,000 hotel rooms for the world's leading hospitality brands, has signed a binding agreement to be acquired by dormakaba. The acquisition will strengthen dormakaba's position as a global hospitality access solutions leader, expanding its hospitality offering beyond physical access control, connecting room entry with digital guest engagement to support a seamless guest journey. By pairing Alliants' powerful and established experience platform with dormakaba's global portfolio and scale, hotels will have the option of an end-to-end solution across digital guest engagement, access, and hotel operations. Both businesses will remain interoperable with other providers across the tech stack, providing real choice for hotels to work with other manufacturers and software partners to best fit their needs. With a banking team led by Jonathan Weibrecht and Charlie Schopp, AGC Partners acted as the sole financial advisor to Alliants.

"Alliants has been seventeen years in the making, so the decision about who stood alongside us for this was not one we took lightly. AGC's insight into the travel technology market meant we spent no time bringing them up to speed – we went straight to the conversations that mattered. From the outset Jonathan, Charlie and the wider team operated as an extension of ours: bringing best practice at every stage, staying a step ahead of the process, and taking the strain so that a transaction of this significance never became the distraction it could so easily have been. That let us keep our focus on running and growing the business right through to signing, and that focus, more than anything, is what protected the outcome for our shareholders, our people and our customers."
